New Post: Election Day sketch notes [build2understand.10centuries.org]

@kdfrawg Probably more memes than fish in that pond…

Earlier today -- one for sharp-eyed birdwatchers (not!) :)

BBC approached it in a less technical manner but basically it's marketing, isn't it? Next step on from focus groups and surveys, trying to find the single issue that will trigger the desired voting reflex and bypass any inhibitory impulses/principles. Slippery slope. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-39830727

@kdfrawg I use Twitter as it provides an opportunity to network with folk of similar interests not evident here. However, I have to confess to raising a metaphorical eyebrow when the CEO recently expressed concern that users might find the service addictive. Maybe 10C should periodically send pithy warning messages :)

@kdfrawg I think the message you're not seeing says something like "there's more to life than social media" -- or you should pretend it does :)

Somewhat minimalist Roscoe museum post now has marginally animated gif (yay me) http://build2understand.10centuries.org/2017/05/03/concept-for-a-william-roscoe-museum

My device was previously running now-defunct Cyanogen OS so manufacturer was under some pressure to make a replacement or lose credibility. Thus far I have a slight preference for Cyanogen OS but will be interesting to see whether I ever use split-screen on a 5" phone other than for "fun". Of course, as this is old hardware it doesn't benefit from all the VR and updating features of Nougat.
